Hi all, this week I am so excited to share a reflective piece from my friend Jin. She writes so beautifully about all the ways God speaks to her and what she hears. It is poetry!

Picture of author's family

God speaks when I'm greeted by delightful faces wanting Mommy's cuddles in the morning. I feel God's love and enthusiasm over me.

God speaks when we start the morning together in His word. It is truly a miracle to see how little hearts can change when God's words come alive.

God speaks when we battle heart issues together. We see the sins that bind us and look to God to rescue us from the daily battles we face.

God speaks when I fall flat on my face, weak and discouraged over my limitations. God reminds me that His grace is sufficient for me and that His mercy is new every morning.

God speaks when we choose His ways over our ways. God is with us every moment of our lives. He is all-knowing, all-seeing and always present!

Psalm 127:3 Children are a blessing and a gift from the Lord.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Jin Tang is a pianist and accompanist who has performed and taught in Malaysia, Australia and the UK. Together with her husband John, they are passionate about homeschooling their delightful four children.
